The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missing in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
